Dear Students and Families,
I am “over-the-moon” excited to present my lifelong dream and passion to my hometown community of Myerstown! I proudly announce the opening of my dance studio, Generation Dance. As many of you know, my beloved mom, Gail Reese, taught dance for numerous years to so many young dancers, whom she enjoyed and loved. After several years of consideration, I am now ready to offer a quality studio of my own. My goal is to provide an environment where students can learn, have fun, build self-esteem and confidence, not only in the dance classroom, but in life.
Now, a little bit about my dance background......I have danced since childhood, thanks to my mom, and after she closed her doors, I continued under the tutelage of several professionals, including many who continue to teach at Broadway Dance Center in New York City. I’ve been fortunate to have danced professionally at Hersheypark, on Club MTV, at Carnegie Hall (NYC), and as a Philadelphia Eagles Cheerleader. With over 15 years experience teaching in the dance classroom, my knowledge will provide a solid foundation for students to flourish.
My staff and I are offering tap, ballet, jazz and hip-hop classes to our students. Additionally, a variety of fitness classes will be available to encourage a fit lifestyle for anyone who aspires to gain strength, flexibility, and overall wellness.
My belief is that dance is an opportunity to express one’s heart and soul and to inspire those who surround us. I would take great pleasure in sharing what I know and love with all of you.
